เสียหาย 5 หมื่นล้าน ถ้าแอปเปิ้ลเรียกคืน iPhone 4

มีการประเมินสถานการณ์ iPhone 4 ตอนนี้ว่าถ้าแอปเปิ้ลจะทำการเรียกคืน iPhone 4 ทั้งหมดกลับคืนบริษัทแอปเปิ้ลอาจจะมีค่าใช้จ่ายมากถึง 5 หมื่นล้านบาท บริษัท Bernstein Research ได้วิเคราะห์ว่าถ้าแอปเปิ้ลต้องเรียกคืน iPhone 4 ที่ตอนนี้มีปัญหาเรื่องการรับสัญญาณโทรศัพท์ทั้งหมดนั้นอาจจะมีค่าใช้จ่ายสูงถึง $1,500 ล้านเหรียญ (ประมาณ 5 หมื่นล้านบาท) โดยคิดเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายเพื่อการนี้ต่อเครื่อง $250 ซึ่งประเมินว่าตอนนี้แอปเปิ้ลน่าจะขาย iPhone 4 ไปแล้วประมาณ 6 ล้านเครื่อง โดยค่าใช้จ่ายในการเปลี่ยนชิ้นส่วนที่มีปัญหาราคาชิ้นละประมาณ $75 ซึ่งถ้าคูณจำนวณ 6 ล้านเครื่องเข้าไปแอปเปิ้ลก็ต้องเสียเงินเฉพาะค่าเปลี่ยนชิ้นส่วนราว ๆ $450 ล้านเหรียญ (ประมาณ 15,000 ล้านบาท) ที่มา : barrons.com
